What's In Your Backpack

The 7C's To An Abundant Life

About this book

This book is about backpacks, abundance and the 7C's, and how you can create your best life.

When you were born, imagine you came into this world with an invisible backpack. From the moment you became aware of your surroundings, your backpack began to have things added to it. As you heard voices, saw faces, felt the touch of familiar and less familiar hands, experienced sensations of hunger, satiation, joy, isolation, safety, and so much more, your body tucked every one of these experiences into this backpack. By the time you're an adult, your backpack contains a lifetime of learning, memories, emotions and beliefs. Much of it you are unaware of and some of it is detrimental to your wellbeing.

Abundance is about access, not ownership. It is knowing that everything you will ever need is within you or is accessible to you from an external source. Abundance is knowing that when you have a need for something, your need will be met. Abundance is getting clear on what you want and learning how to ask for it. Abundance is about faith and a willingness to go with the flow. Abundance is about being resourceful, even when you don't have all the resources. Abundance begins with a vision of what is possible and having the courage to step out into the unknown not knowing what lies ahead.

The 7C's is a simple framework with which to navigate your inner world and the outer world. The twists and turns, the ups and downs of everyday life can feel like being on a small boat sailing across the seven seas of being human. Each C is already a part of what you do, how you live and why you love or loath your life. A significant part of this book is devoted to exploring and elaborating on each C, with a list of exercises at the end of each chapter to help you become more mindful of how you perceive them when they show up in your life and the actions you choose to take.

You are invited to slow down, explore the contents of your backpack with curiosity and discernment, and decide what still belongs with you and what you can let go. If you want to fly, you must travel light. Your abundant life awaits you.

"A wonderful perspective with the example of a backpack. Highly relatable and easily readable. I read it in one day, in one sitting, something I rarely do. I would advice you to read it with a highlighter and revisit the lines you have highlighted and there will be many many of them . Given the author’s own journey is so inspiring, this one is truly a ‘walked the talk and thus shared ‘ example. Loved Yuvi’s contribution to the journey."

"Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, this book invites you to pause and reflect on what you’re carrying - emotionally and mentally. It encourages meaningful introspection and gives language to feelings and challenges that many of us struggle to articulate. The beauty of this book is in its flexibility. Whether you're seeking clarity in your personal life, looking to set new goals, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, there’s something in these pages that will resonate. It's a gentle guide toward abundance, not just in material terms, but in finding peace and purpose."
